Upneeq $200 for a box of 45 applicators

Upneeq (oxymetazoline hydrochloride ophthalmic solution 0.1%) is a prescription medication used to treat acquired blepharoptosis, which is a condition characterized by drooping of the upper eyelid(s). Upneeq works by stimulating the Mueller’s muscle, a muscle responsible for elevating the eyelid, leading to temporary improvement in eyelid elevation and reducing the appearance of drooping. It is administered as eye drops and is typically used once daily in the morning. Upneeq was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2020 for this indication.
