The DermeLuxx facial is a non-invasive treatment, that provides instant results for all skin types with no downtime. The DermeLuxx is a comfortable and relaxing treatment that helps to get rid of dead skin cells and blackheads, giving the skin a clear and glowing appearance. This deep cleansing, one-hour facial includes 10 minutes under a LED light of your choosing, extractions, dermaplaning, hydrodermabrasion, oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, and more.
Dermeluxx Facial Pre-Care
Avoid excess sun exposure, including tanning beds for 1 week before treatment, and use SPF 30 or greater daily to ensure coverage against UVA and UBB rays.
Do not use any type of exfoliants 2 days before treatment.
Refrain from any chemical peels or lasers for 2 weeks prior.
Discontinue use of Tretinoin type products (Renova, Tretinoin, Retin A, Retin A Micro, etc.) at least 2 days before treatment.
Discontinue use of Hydroquinone 3 days before treatment.
If you have a history of cold sores, consider beginning prophylactic treatment with Valtrex, OTC L-Lysine or comparable treatment no later than the day of treatment.
Notify the center if you develop a cold sore, acne, open lesions in the area being treated, or experience any type of illness before your treatment.
Wait 1 week after Botox and filler treatments to have a treatment.
Botox may be done on the same day, but only after the treatment.
Dermeluxx Facial Post-Care
Avoid any exfoliation to the area for 48 hours post-treatment.
To keep the area clean, avoid heat sources, including hot showers, saunas, and cardio workouts that may produce sweat for 24 hours.
Please discuss continuing use of your regular regimen post-treatment with your esthetician.
Do not use topical Retin-A for 2 days following treatment.
Avoid unprotected sun exposure and/or use of tanning beds for at least 3 days post-treatment.
Use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily for 3-5 days post-treatment.
Makeup may be applied the day after treatment.

Our medical spa facials are corrective procedures and not designed only for pampering. We treat the face and those parts of the neck affected by skin disorders including acne, razor bumps, clogged pores, blackheads, dehydration, dead skin cell build-up, etc.
The goal of a facial treatment as in any cosmetic procedure is improvement, not perfection.
We recommend a facial for all skin types and all ages.
For optimal results the use of daily at home skincare products prescribed by your provider is recommended.
Extractions may be added to treatment to gently and safely remove blackheads, drain inflamed acne impactions, and release trapped ingrown hairs.
If extractions are done wait 24 hours before applying acne and other active products, scrubs, astringents, lighteners, AHA/BHA, Retinol and/or other vitamin-A products.
Facials could cause temporary redness and/or purging of the pores.
You should let your provider know if you are pregnant, have asthma, and/or sensitive areas.
