IPL – Intense Pulse Light

IPL is a form of skin rejuvenation which delivers high intensity pulses of light to the skin. This enhances the results of skin rejuvenation in a non-invasive way with minimal downtime following the procedure. IPL stimulates new collagen resulting in more smooth and healthy skin. IPL has many benefits such as improvement of rosacea, reduction of hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, tightening of the pores, improved elasticity in the skin, and reduction in acne skin and scars. IPL can also be used to treat aging necks and hands, sun spots on the chest and décolleté, and capillary/spider and telangiectasias veins. IPL is best done in a series of 3 but it is possible to see results after just one treatment. IPL is very beneficial for people with dark spots and abnormal skin pigmentations.
